Lee-Andre Marissa Fortuin, a past pupil of Girls’ High School in Pietermaritzburg, is another of our first-year students. Maganizo Penti: Graduate Chef’s Midlands Food Journey

From gardener to gourmet chef, Jackie Cameron School of Food and Wine’s first 2020 graduate, Maganizo Penti, has travelled from Malawi to the Midlands, to Magaliesberg and back, returning home richer from all the memories, and ready to share his new chef skills.

Introducing Caitlin van der Velden - Class of 2020

It’s been a busy month at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine. The students have completed the six-hour final practical cooking exam, as well as the international exam comprising culinary arts, food safety and food preparation. We are patting ourselves on our backs to be at this stage of the course, considering how disruptive the year has been.
