Walking down the aisle with my father: John Cameron and having him giving me away. Having my mother Mauveen Cameron helping me dress. To having the many little surprises that Rainer and Gabi Kirschke presented to us throughout the day.

Hilton Arts Festival

Last weekend Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine, once again, turned out in support of the Hilton Arts Festival – and what a treat it was. The students have coined the phrase “team work makes the dream work” – and this proved appropriate at the popular annual event.

My heart was very warm when reading this. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know Yvette Ellison and her friends over the last year and a bit. Calling all teens for a 3 day cooking camp!

3 Day Teen Cooking Camp with Chef Jackie will be a hands-on cooking camp with recipes from Jackie’s two cooking books; “Jackie Cameron Cooks at Home” and “Baking with Jackie Cameron”. Everything cooked will be eaten by the teen chefs.

The Graduation

It was 16 years of hard work - and a dream accomplished - when the first intake of students at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine graduated with distinctions in all subjects. I now look forward to welcoming next year’s aspiring young chefs.
