Sundowners with a Difference

Every month we will showcase different wine estates. The students will pair bite-size tastings for the various cultivars being presented, and we’ll ask you to comment on the snacks and how well they pair with the respective wines. This will be a relaxed, informal get together of people who enjoy fine fare - and for those who would like to gain appreciation for this sociable activity. So, on the way home from work, stop off for a sundowner of a food-and-wine tasting with a difference.

As the Sun Sets

My heart was very warm when reading this. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know Yvette Ellison and her friends over the last year and a bit. Bowing to public demand sees us adding a new dimension to Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine that gives anyone with culinary interests the opportunity to be a part of a like-minded group.

The Roses & Bubbly Festival

The Roses & Bubbly Festival is a celebration of Cap Classique and Champagne showcasing the finest of South Africa's Cap Classique producers, as well as highly acclaimed Champagne houses. The entrance fee is R250 per person and includes a complimentary tasting glass and a book of bubbly tasting vouchers. Live music will add to the festive atmosphere and a selection of fine foods will be available for purchase.
