On Saturday 31 October 2026 at 15h00, Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine in Hilton welcomes guests for High Tea as our students present their final assessment: the Defy Patisserie Exam, held in the school's Defy Patisserie Kitchen.
Enjoy sweet and savoury delights from our Defy Patisserie Kitchen, a glass of Kleine Zalze bubbles and a cup of Terbodore coffee or tea. It is a chance to slow down, share good company and appreciate the creativity and care of our student chefs.

There is a great deal of thought in a small pastry. Texture, flavour, structure and presentation all matter. The Defy Patisserie Exam brings those details into focus, giving students the opportunity to show their technical care and individual creativity in the Defy Patisserie Kitchen.
High Tea allows guests to experience that work around the table. The occasion celebrates the progress behind the finished selection, from careful preparation to the final flourish before serving.

The afternoon centres on sweet and savoury delights from our Defy Patisserie Kitchen. The individual items will reflect what our students prepare for the Defy Patisserie Exam.
Your R350 per person ticket includes VAT, the sweet and savoury selection, a glass of Kleine Zalze bubbles and a cup of Terbodore coffee or tea.
