How would you describe Jackie Cameron?
ā€Chef Jackie is like our ā€˜mum’ - a mentor and a friend. She is definitely one of the most hard- working women I know.ā€œ

How would you describe yourself before her teachings?
ā€I lacked self-confidence.ā€

How would you describe yourself after her teachings?
ā€I am more confident in the kitchen and in life now.ā€

Was I she too hard on you?
ā€Chef was firm, and always led us to the right path. There are times when each one of us needs direction, and chef always had our best interests at heart.ā€œ

Would you recommend Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine to anyone interested in the culinary industry?
ā€Yes! Most definitely. ā€œ

Would you recommend the hospitality industry as a career?
ā€Indeed. If cheffing is your passion then you need to follow through with your whole heart. There is a lot of sacrifice that comes with it, but it is worth every minute.ā€

What attributes do you think made Jackie Cameron successful?
ā€Her perseverance and her willingness to never give up. Chef isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty.ā€

In your opinion, is success worthwhile?
ā€Success means different things to different people. For me being successful means being happy in whatever I’m doing.ā€
