To keep motivated - and that nothing is impossible with hard work and dedication.

I learnt a lot about food and the industry. Chef really encouraged us to be creative and express ourselves. I learnt a lot about myself during the 18 months.

Extremely dedicated and passionate about food. Very creative and confident. Extremely caring as well - we have all become her children.

How would you describe yourself before Jackie Cameron’s teachings?
Slightly introverted and dedicated.

Dedicated and motivated. I came out of my shell, so I am more confident.

Was Jackie Cameron too hard on you?
No, this industry is brutal (I have been placed into a calm environment, but the ‘real’ industry is…). Chef really helped us to be prepared for anything, and to keep pushing to reach our goals.

Would you recommend Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine to anyone interested in the culinary industry?

Most definitely. I really learn a lot, not only about food but the people in the food industry in South Africa and worldwide. I also grew a lot, as an individual.

Would you recommend the hospitality industry as a career?
Yes, if people are interested in the field. If not, then no.

Her willingness to help others, her dedication and motivation.

In your opinion, is success worthwhile?
Yes, most definitely - success not only in the workplace, but success in all aspects of life - emotionally, mentally, socially and physically.
