Foundational Artisan Bread Course with Graeme Taute
“Graeme Taute will be running a foundational Artisan Bread Course at the Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine on 18 July 2024.”
Join us for a Foundational Artisan Bread Course
The course will explore the fundamental principles of artisan bread-making. Participants will then each go on to make a traditional French Country Loaf and a Ciabatta. Lunch will be served. Participants will bake their breads in the afternoon, taking the loaves they’ve made home with them.
Graeme Taute has supplied sourdough breads to the Karkloof Farmers’ Market for almost ten years and has also run monthly bread courses in Hilton during those years. He now teaches an artisan bread course for the students at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine. Graeme has presented courses for Taste Magazine, Sprigs: The Food Shop in Kloof, as well as the Christina Martin School of Food and Wine; and his work has been featured in many South African magazines, including Country Life, Food and Home Entertaining, SAA and British Airways in-flight magazines, and Taste. Graeme is also featured in the popular East Coast Tables book by Erica Platter.
