Judging of the shortlisted applicants will be in late September 2017. The award will be presented to the person who demonstrates an appreciation of food and cooking and a deep desire to raise the standard of the local culinary industry. Silwood Cookery School (Cape Town, Western Cape) and Prue Leith’s Chef’s Academy (Centurion, Gauteng) are the other two participating schools along with Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine.
