Life as a Chef is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.

My life has done about 3 somersaults in the past 3 years; all positively changing the direction of my future as a chef. My family and I have full faith in Chef Jackie and believe that even the most challenged student will not be left behind. I have learnt so much from my experience of being a student and working in some of the finest establishments in the country.

Completing the culinary arts course will equip you with the knowledge and skill of starting your own brand and business, but undoubtedly the 3 year Advanced Diploma will set you a cut about the rest. Besides the in-depth research and theory behind management, finance and lecturing; completing the Advanced Diploma allows you the opportunity to gain experience in all “parties” of the culinary arts.

For example, I started my first 6 month intensive work experience at By Word Of Mouth Catering, sparking my passion for private dining and large-scale catering. My next 6 months experience at The Test Kitchen Carbon allowed me the opportunity to work alongside Chef Luke Dale-Roberts who provoked my yearning for the fuss and buzz of service of a 5 star fine dining experience. And finally to complete my now august CV, I am currently completing my final placement at The Dough Girl Coffee and Bakery where I've rekindled my love for Pastry. All this experience that would have been impossible to fit in the space of 3 years. While still winning the title of the Afternoon Express Excella Young Chef of 2021.

At this point, I'm not sure what will come next but I can assure you that you can expect great things. So watch this space!
