Dr Billy Gallagher is one of South Africa's iconic figures in the Food and Beverage Industry, his experience spanning over four decades at the highest level. Dr Gallagher's involvement in the industry is well known, noteably his work in education where he has served five years as Chairman of the Board at the Univeristy of Johannesburg School of Tourism and Hospitality and over 20 years as the President of the South African Chefs Association. Dr Gallagher has been at the forefront of developing young Chefs and was instrumental in the first apprenticeship schemes and is an iconic leader and mentor to young leaders across the world.
