The Roadside Cafe · Student Popup
The Roadside Cafe: Student Popup took place at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine in Hilton on Friday 21 August 2026 from 3pm.
For this Student Popup, our students shared an assortment of freshly baked:
- Breads
- Doughnuts
- Croissants
The selection reflected what our students had been learning, practising and creating in the kitchen, giving visitors a taste of their hands-on culinary training.
Limited quantities were available
The students prepared a set quantity for the popup, with no additional stock once the day's selection had sold out.
Baked in limited quantities. When it was gone, it was gone.
The Roadside Cafe takes place on selected Fridays from 3pm, with the offering changing according to what our students are working on at the time.
One popup might feature breads and pastries; another could bring artisan breads, cakes, biscuits, tarts, desserts, chocolates or something completely different.
Each Student Popup gives our local community another opportunity to see — and taste — what our students are currently learning and creating.
