Name the most important thing you were taught at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine.
Doing things properly it does not matter how long it takes as long as it is done properly.

How did Jackie Cameron's teachings change your life?
I started looking at life in a completely different perspective. My attitude towards certain things took a big turnaround, I am more conscious of people, of time and my surroundings, and I now know there is a time and place for everything.

How would you describe Jackie Cameron?
Chef is the most hard-working wife/female in the game. She is also an over achiever of note - she only expects excellence and rides in the excellency lane, and best of all she is a great teacher. A teacher of life, in and out of the kitchen.

How would you describe yourself before Jackie Cameron's teachings?
I did not understand my potential and how much my mind could transform in such a short space of time. Also, I thought store-bought lemon juice and crushed garlic were good ingredients.

How would you describe yourself after Jackie Cameron's teachings?
I am very aware of my potential and I do not let my weaknesses get me down.

Was Jackie Cameron too hard on you?
Sometimes. Everyone needs a push, and lessons are often learnt in the most unpleasant situations.

Yes, it offers many opportunities and enables you to see the world.

Consistency, her competitive spirit and a desire of wanting to know more.

In your opinion, is success worthwhile?
In the words of Zozibini Tunzi, Miss Universe 2019: “Nothing is as important as taking up space in society and cementing yourself and allowing ourselves to be stretched beyond our own capabilities.” Success is measured in different ways to different people and to me it is definitely worthwhile.
