TRIZANNE KODI - Student Testimonial

My time at Jackie Cameron school of Food and wine....wow where do I even begin?

My year at school has honestly been one of the best years of my life. Culinary school changes you..for the better. Learning and growing with Chef Jackie has truly been exceptional. Now that I’m in the industry I’ve realized how much we’ve been prepared for this.

School hasn't been easy, there were times that you'd want to give up and throw in all your kitchen utensils but chef has always been there to dig deep even when we couldn't to find that little bit of motivation even in the slightest to keep us going.

The school not only developed my culinary skills but it taught me how to be a family with the people around me....people I now call my family.

We've had ups and downs, fights but most importantly at the end of the day we would put on the kettle make a few cups of tea and just continue being there for each other. Now that I'm on the brink of graduating from scool soon enough, I've reminisced on the year that's gone by and what I have learned is to Never never never give up. To keep pushing when there's really nothing left to push and there's only one way to do something, and that's properly. But most importantly you have a whole kitchen family behind you.

My dream was always to be a chef but being at the Jackie Cameron school of food and wine, that dream has grown in leaps and bounds. Something I could never even imagined. Dreams followed by hard work is a recipe for success.
