In a captivating culinary event on Friday, 15th September, thirty-six Michaelhouse A Block boys embarked on a gastronomic adventure at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine. Under the expert guidance of our junior chefs, the boys had the opportunity to prepare an exquisite array of dishes. The main aim of this experience was to equip them with vital cooking skills for life beyond boarding school, focusing on mastering simple yet impressive recipes. From crafting their own pasta from scratch to perfecting the art of a South African braai chop, each boy eagerly embraced the challenge of trying their hand at eight different dishes. These delectable creations were savoured on the go, as the boys reveled in the experience together. The remarkable display of friendship and camaraderie among the A Block boys, fostered by their shared love of food, was truly heartwarming.
