Warwick Wine Estate

Warwick Wine Estate

Warwick Wine Estate has been in the hands of the Ratcliffe’s family for almost 60 years, but with a history dating back to 1771 when the current barrel cellar was built.

Female winemaking pioneer Norma Ratcliffe was the first woman to make wine in South Africa. Norma's son, Mike Ratcliffe, now leading this exciting property since 2000 has injected a hue amount of passion into the hand-crafted wines of this beautiful Stellenbosch property.

Warwick is perhaps most famous for its red wines lead by the historical Trilogy and the vivacious 'Three Cape Ladies' - but over the past 2 decades the irrepressible Warwick 'Professor Black' Sauvignon has become embedded in South African wine-drinking folklore.

Warwick is a social media leader and I encourage you to follow on Twitter @WarwickWine or on Facebook WarwickWineEstate.
