A deep appreciation of Southern Africa's Nguni cattle is clearly evident in Ed Schroeder’s photography.
His attention to detail – seen clearly in the eyes of his subjects - harmonises with the focus on perfection at the Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine. It is, therefore, logical that a collection of his work - an unusual new-age presentation - will be on display at the school. Visitors are welcome.
The AfriCanis, an indigenous breed of canine that travelled with the Nguni people and their cattle, has also captured Schroeder's attention.
Schroeder, a professional photographer, lives in Garlington Estate, Hilton in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
