It has been inspiring to witness this shy, young man blossom. I have often overheard comments such as: “Angelo is such a gentleman - we need more men like him”. Seriously fired up on this course, Angelo’s contribution is always 100 per cent. He is motivated and enthusiastic to tackle anything thrown his way. He volunteers to work at every function – wanting to make the most of every experience.
It’s seldom that one can leave one’s entire wedding feast to a group of students - and it is testament to the quality of the aspiring chefs at Jackie Cameron School of Food & Wine that I could do just that.
3 Day Teen Cooking Camp with Chef Jackie will be a hands-on cooking camp with recipes from Jackie’s two cooking books; “Jackie Cameron Cooks at Home” and “Baking with Jackie Cameron”. Everything cooked will be eaten by the teen chefs.
I believe a successful day relies heavily on a healthy morning kick start. The ideas I'm about to share may even entice youngsters to think more seriously about breakfast.
I would recommend this experience to everyone, for anyone. It really was such a special treat and a fantastic foodie journey. Thanks again to Jackie and her team for facilitating such a memorable birthday for me.
